Dr. Chen has extensive experience in antibody and small molecule drug discovery. He was formerly a Senior Scientist in the Department of Oncology at Amgen, where he led a multidisciplinary team to develop antibody-based therapeutics for cancer and a novel technology platform for antibody-directed delivery of cytotoxic drugs and siRNAs to tumor cells. Before joining Amgen, he was a Scientist at Tularik and completed postdoctoral studies under Dr. David Goeddel.
