Paul W. Sauer joined Igenica in 2011 as VP, Process Development. He brings to Igenica over twenty-five years of experience in biotechnology, including experience with research, clinical and FDA-licensed recombinant proteins. Paul joined Igenica from OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, where he directed the process development and manufacturing activities for multiple antibody programs between 2006 and 2011, culminating in IND submissions for three clinical products over a four-year period. Between 1994 and 2005, Paul led the cell culture process development function at Protein Design Labs. Prior to Protein Design Labs, he held engineering and manufacturing positions with Scios and Genentech. Paul earned an Executive MBA from Santa Clara University and Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis. |
